Decision-making is the most important function of management. It has never been more challenging: planning, operating, and maintaining experiences requires new ways of understanding and carrying out projects, services, and businesses.

This challenge has been fertile ground for new work methodologies, all of them promising the success that eludes others. While useful, they all share the same limitation: a work methodology proposes a way to organize people and processes. It does not replace people, nor does it replace their decision-making processes.

Experience Decision Making arises from recognizing this missing piece. It integrates and extends elements of decision theory, cognitive psychology, and principles of influence and leadership into a consistent system applied in real-world projects.
